I got this when my 3rd was a newborn He is 8mo now I love the adjustablity of this sling It was secure and handy for a newborn The baby/toddler is hugged snugly against you so it is always secure I have used it on my 2 1/2 yr old too with hip carry great for newborns little and big babys and little and big toddlers The most adjustable and comfortable way to carry your child from birth to preschool Ive used it for long periods of time and the weight is easily dispersed So easy and quick on and off So handy I m always using it Also works for nursing I have nursed my baby in the maya wrap while shopping while pushing a loaded grocery cart with a 2yr old and 4 yr old in tow comfortably and descreetly Comes with a DVD Awesome Every family should own one of these
