I bought this sling with the hopes of getting more done around the house It is comfortable for me while wearing it definitely My baby is not sure if she likes it though sometimes she goes to sleep in it right away and sometimes she cries and doesn t like it It might just take a bit more time for her to get used to it I like the ease of getting her in and out of it compared to wraps

I really wanted to like this sling but my daughter isn t too fond of it and she squirms around so much that I m afraid she will fall out even when using the sling I hold her the same way I would if she wasnt in it When she was a very newborn we were able to use it and she didn t mind but at about 4 weeks it was over I am keeping my fingers crossed that maybe she will come around she s 4 months but I think we are going to have to buy a traditional carrier where she can easily see and move her limbs around a bit more freely Also I think I would feel better having her in something a bit more secure so I can do housework like vacuuming and laundry and hold her at the same time The sling is pretty we have the black and white one and I am glad so many people like the sling it was great when my baby was a newborn maybe if we would have put her in it more often she would like it now I m also short someone mentioned that it doesn t work as well with short people I m 5 2

Overall I would get this as a secondary carrier if you find your baby loves to be bundled and cuddled because even if your baby doesn t like the traditional one at least you don t have to worry about them squirming their way out of it and potentially harming themselves Best wishes with your little ones

This sling is a bag sling and bag slings can kill your infant
Yes I know that ANY child product if used improperly can hurt your baby But bag slings are dangerous period I am a huge baby wearing advocate I have tried SO MANY baby carriers of ALL shapes and sizes and designs I have even tried the Infantino and the Balboa I was given both as gifts and I loved the Balboa s leopard pattern that I got and the Dr Sears endorsement how could this be anything but a good sling right Wrong Within weeks both were discarded The Balboa fits very much like the Infantino as far as all the could easily suffocate your baby ways are concerned I believe the Balboa felt a bit better on my shoulder and back but WHO CARES
Infantino has been recalled due to several deaths already Hopefully the Balboa will not be far behind Baby wearing is great if you do it safely and the best thing to do would be to avoid this sling altogether
I admit that MAY BE when you kid is much much older than an infant and can sit up in this sling and doesn t fall asleep then it may be o k But I would still avoid it baby wearing does not have to be such trouble It s fun And I would hate for other parents to see an older baby in a bag sling and then think it o k to use for their infants IT IS NOT
